Emphasis
The point of emphasis in a design is the focal point. Visual hierarcy is arranging all elements according to emphasis.
Supporting focal points are called accents.
Ways to make something a focal point:
- make it brightest
- make it a different color
- go in a different direction
- position it differently
- isolate it
